Matt Medley

I have enjoyed working with State Farm Agents since 2002. I began my career with Terry Lingerfelt, and when he retired I seamlessly transitioned to Matt Medley State Farm. I truly enjoy the relationship with our customers, and advising insured’s on how to avoid making the two largest financial mistakes. I’m licensed in auto, fire, life and health. When I’m not at the office, you will find me spending quality time with friends and family.

Originally from Miami, Florida, I moved to Georgia before entering middle school. My insurance career began with Matt Medley State Farm in 2015, I am licensed in Auto, Home, Life, and Health insurance. My main focus is on customer relations, and claims experience. It is important to me that I give every customer a sense of calm and make sure their insurance concerns are taken care of. In my free time I enjoy cooking, gardening, and spending summer days outdoors hiking or kayaking.

I was born and raised in Rome, Ga. I started my insurance career early 2014. I am licensed in Auto, Home, Life, and Health insurance. I focus on welcoming new customers to our office and explaining everything with detail to assure you understand every coverage. I also help serve the Spanish speaking community. I have a daughter named Sophia and we have two dogs (Stella & Jax), and one cat (Monster). My family enjoys spending free time doing anything outdoors- fishing, camping, kayaking, and taking day trips to the beach.

A native Roman, Blake graduated from Pepperell High School, where he was a baseball and basketball athlete. After graduating, he worked at Floyd hospital before transitioning into the insurance world, where he focused on writing health and life insurance. The opportunity to join Matt Medley Agency allowed him to continue his insurance education and become licensed to write homes and autos as well. Blake now specializes in acquiring new business in all four of these areas, and he loves to provide top-notch service to all customers and potential customers. When he’s off the clock, he takes two things seriously: his golf score and being a Dog Father to Comet, his five-year-old German Shepherd.

Though her home will always be Cuba where she was born, Rosie is now grateful to also call Calhoun, GA home too. She had the amazing opportunity to start working with Matt at State Farm in April of 2022. Her goal as a licensed producer in home, auto, life and health insurance is to always educate people, whether that be in Spanish or English. When not at work, she can be found outdoors hiking or indoors reading her favorite books.
